"Oh, I'd never dream of interfering with nap time," she replies seriously, though her smile still lingers at the corners of her eyes. It's hard to guess how anyone in Darrow might respond to a stranger, given how prone people are to studiously ignoring one another here -- and how protective they are of their children (which she understands, to a point, but it's a bit much to treat all unknown persons as likely kidnappers). At least she hasn't stumbled over any improbably placed boundaries in this case, and her smile is quick to return when the baby chirps at her, little arms flailing emphatically.

"She does seem easily delighted, though. What's her name?"
