Bardolf's -- that's where Biffy works, isn't it? For a heart-stopping moment, she wonders if they'll run into him there, and how on earth she'll explain herself. Then it occurs to her to wonder if Biffy would even mind; he might just as easily provide enthusiastic assistance.

Then, of course, she realizes it's all rather a moot point. He wouldn't be working during the daylight hours.

"I didn't realize he was aiming to have things on the racks," she admits, as much as a distraction as out of genuine curiosity. She knows a little of Krem's business, largely by way of Aggie and Bull, and had got the impression he did tailoring and made things to order. "Is he branching out, then?"

Perhaps that means he's dreadfully busy, and that even Nina's backing wouldn't result in anything ready to wear between now and whenever she loses her nerve.
